Lunch is however available for purchase at PCYC on the day of the course. Each participant should bring the current Racing Rules of Sailing book (if possible), paper and writing utensils. Rule books can be purchased from Ontario Sailing by contacting 1-888-672-7245 ext. 223 or sales@ontariosailing.ca. Some of the clubs also keep rule books on hand to sell so you may want to check with your club. If possible, the course conductors recommend that bringing a GPS, compass, and wind stick may be useful. Please note that Sail Canada Assistant Mark Layer (AML) Certification requires experience as a Mark Layer as well as the submission of a Sail Canada Race Officer Application which must be approved by the Ontario Sailing Race Management Committee.
