The Clubhouse is located immediately west of the Cobourg Marina Office at the foot of Third Street.
Dates and Times:
Saturday, March 23, 2019 - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday, March 24, 2019 - 9:00am - 4:00pm
Cost: $77.41 ($68.50 + HST)
Registration price includes a Join the Race Committee Team training manual.
It is recommended that each participant bring a current Racing Rules of Sailing book, paper and writing utensils. If you do not have a current Rules Book, you can purchase one from Ontario Sailing by contacting 1-888-672-7245 ext. 223 or email@example.com
Lunch is the responsibility of the participant.
ARO (Assistant Race Officer) Theory
Duties and responsibilities of:
Basic compass skills
Setting and maintaining start/finish lines
CRO (Club Race Officer) Theory
Duties and responsibilities of leading a Race Management Team
Compass Skills - Calculating race course
Please note: Club Race Officer (CRO) Certification requires participation in a 2-day ARO/CRO Race Officer course, experience as a Race Officer as well as the submission of an application for approval by the Ontario Sailing Race Management Committee.
