Lunch will be available for purchase from RCYC on the day of the course. This registration is for MEMBERS of Ontario Sailing only. For a complete list of Ontario Sailing Member Clubs, please refer to the "Members & Services" section of our website at www.ontariosailing.ca Please bring paper, pen/pencil and the 2017-2020 Racing Rules of Sailing book with you to the seminar. Please review Section 5, 6, & 7 of the Rule Book before attending the seminar. You will also receive a PowerPoint attached to your confirmation email (or closer to the date of the course) for your review. Please bring a copy of the PowerPoint with you to the seminar (either a hard copy that you have printed out or a digital copy that you can view on your personal laptop/tablet during the seminar). Rules books can be purchased from Ontario Sailing by contacting sales@ontariosailing.ca or 1-888-672-7245 ext. 223. Content: Judge seminars are provided through the Sail Canada Judges Program and are led by certified International Judges and National Judges from Ontario. They are based on principles of adult education with mini lectures and group activities to involve the learners in the application of the theory and practice of judging.
