Location: Royal Hamilton Yacht Club 555 Bay Street North Hamilton, ON 905-528-8464 For directions to Royal Hamilton Yacht Club, please visit https://www.rhyc.ca/Contact Dates and Times: Saturday, June 15, 2019 - 9:00am - 4:30pm Sunday, June 16, 2019 - 9:00am - 4:30pm Cost: $77.41 ($68.50 + HST) Please note that lunch is NOT included in the registration fee. Lunch is however available for purchase at RHYC on the days of the course. Each participant should bring the current Racing Rules of Sailing book (if possible), paper and writing utensils. Rule books can be purchased from Ontario Sailing by contacting 1-888-672-7245 ext. 223 or sales@ontariosailing.ca. If possible, the course conductors would also like each participant to bring race management gear such as a GPS, a laser range finder, a compass wind stick, etc. There will also be an on-the-water practical element. Participants should bring proper outdoor attire and a PFD. Please note that Sail Canada Assistant Mark Layer (AML) Certification and Sail Canada Mark Layer (ML) Certification require experience as a Mark Layer as well as submission of a Sail Canada Race Officer Application and approval by the Race Management Committee. Mark Layer applications get submitted to Sail Canada and Assistant Mark Layer applications get submitted to Ontario Sailing for consideration.
